My disclaimer...

Let me start this blog by saying three things...

1. I do not in any way consider myself to be a gifted writer
2. I have failed at my two previous attempts to start a blog
3. Isn't my husband-to-be a looker??

Yes, I am writing a blog from the perspective of a newly engaged woman, wildy original right? I however, am not doing this for the purpose of sharing my very typical life with the rest of the world. The purpose of this blog is for Aaron (the handsome man in the picture to the left) and I to keep an account of how we plan to build a family together based on faith, love, and tradition.

Sounds pretty standard I know, but the reason why this is something that I have deemed blog-worthy is because we have a bit of a unique situation going on. Aaron was raised Jewish and I, Catholic. Our God has blessed our relationship in more ways than we can count and is definitely the foundation upon which our relationships stands. We have spent the better part of the last year and half wrestling with how to celebrate and fully ignite the divine romance that we know exists between us. As God lovingly and quietly nudged us along our way, we both learned about our faiths and grew in immense ways. Aaron and I are now taking the steps towards building a life together and I could not be more excited to finally get to put into practice all of what we have discussed, learned, and found a deep connection with. This "Great and Hold Adventure" will be a record of our love and the ways in which we work to celebrate our beautiful faith within our family. It will highlight the special traditions, holidays, prayers, and celebrations that God has blessed us with in order that we might experience His presence more fully
